Time To Fly

Today is a momentous day for me. Just like a pilot is given his/ her wings, so too was I awarded mine.

The very next day after my attack I sought the support and knowledge of an experienced counselor. Unfortunately I found her not very user friendly. We just didn’t gel well at all..and two months into my case she took a sabbatical. It was so difficult for me at the time but what a blessing in disguise as I then met a very calm, kind hearted psychologist who has journeyed with me ever since.

Today, after a few years, she looked across at me and said, “It’s time for the bird to fly”

She said that she was very pleased and happy with the progress, healing and growth I’ve done since the attack. The need for me to see her is no longer. Wow… What a sense of achievement and fulfillment I feel. When I look back at where I was when I started seeing the psychologist to where I am now, I marvel at the work of God’s healing hand.

As the song Silver Convention sings, “fly Robin fly, up,up to the sky”

Just a short post to touch sides and share this news with you…The first Tuesday of every month is now open at 10:30…All coffee offers are now welcome and are being reviewed;)

All my love,
A feathery & free Cayly Robyn bird..
